About the Class
About the Class
This beginning filmmaking class covers storytelling, camera basics, editing, and film history so that kids build a real foundation in cinematic arts. It's perfect for beginners who are curious about how movies get made — and who want to make one themselves.
Our 6-week cohort-based classes give young filmmakers the perfect opportunity to explore film in a safe, fun environment while making new friends.
What Makes This Film Class Different?
We use a project-based model so that kids are involved every step of the way.
This Session's Project
This session, each Junior Film Crew member will write, shoot, and edit their own original short film. They'll also design a movie poster for their film — and at the final session, screen their finished work for friends and family.
