Five things you won't find at a traditional dance studio.
01 A class where your child's ideas actually change what happens
Most studios hand kids a routine and ask them to copy it. Here, your child helps build the choreography from scratch.
02 Two ways to explore — pick one or both
Ballet & tap is one class. Hip hop is another. Families can enroll in one or both — so your child gets exactly the style that lights them up, taught the same creative way.
03 No "you did it wrong"
There's no one right way to move here. Every child's interpretation is valid.
04 A showcase that actually feels good
Starting this fall, every session ends with an in-class showcase — a low-key, joyful moment where kids share what they created. No pressure. No big stage. Just proud kids showing their people what they made.
05 A kid who comes home with something to say
When kids create something instead of copying it, they own it. They leave with a story, not just a skill.
Meet Ms. Taylor
Hi, I'm Taylor — and this program was born from a simple belief: that kids deserve a dance class built around who they actually are.
I've been dancing since I was three years old, and I spent years figuring out how to teach it in a way that works for little ones — not just technically, but emotionally. How do you make a four-year-old feel brave? How do you keep a six-year-old engaged and genuinely excited to come back?
That's what Young Innovators Collective is my answer to.
Every class I teach is built around your child's imagination. I'm just here to hold the space — and make sure every kid in that room feels like they belong there.

Our classes are hosted at Drip Creative Studio, a beautiful studio space we rent.
Families can enjoy a family friendly studio environment, comfortable waiting areas, and plenty of easy nearby parking.

Low commitment, packed with fun.
One class a week, no recitals, no pressure to be serious. Just music, movement, and a really good hour that's all theirs.

We have two trial classes this summer — August 1st and August 8th — before the season kicks off. A great way to see if it's a fit before committing to anything.

Yes. No experience is needed — our classes are designed for both beginners and experienced performers.
My child is shy — is this a good fit?
Absolutely. Many students begin quietly and build confidence over time through creativity, collaboration, and encouragement.
Can parents stay and watch?
Yes. Parents are always welcome to stay and watch or drop off, depending on what feels best for your family.
What should my child wear?
Anything comfortable they can move in. Dance shoes and attire are optional at first and can always be purchased later once your child settles in and knows they love it.
