The Young Innovators Collective

Your Child’s Next Adventure Starts Here

Our Philosphy

  • Child-Led Creativity: Kids help generate ideas, choreograph movements, create sets, and direct scenes — all within a safe and supportive environment.

  • Guided Exploration: Our teachers act as facilitators, giving children the tools and guidance they need to turn their ideas into creative outcomes.

  • Collaboration & Confidence: Working together on projects teaches kids teamwork, communication, and self-expression.

  • Joy & Imagination: Every class is designed to be fun, engaging, and full of discovery, so children develop a lifelong love of the arts.

About Us

Our Teaching Artists
Our teaching artists are the real deal — trained to the highest level in Dance, Film, and Theater, and deeply experienced working with kids.

Our Classes
Structured enough that kids are learning real skills. Loose enough that there's room for giggling, improvising, and happy accidents. Our classes are designed for the way kids actually learn best — by playing, creating, and doing it together.

Our Belief
Every kid who walks through our doors has a creative voice inside them. Some know it already. Some are still figuring it out. Either way, we're here for all of it.

Our Mission

Our mission is to change the way children learn the performing arts. We believe in providing a safe, positive environment that empowers children to use their voices through artistic expression.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if my child is too shy?

We believe that every child has the ability to learn new skills, connect with classmates, and eventually perform. It just happens at a different speed for each child. Our classes are structured intentionally to develop confidence and bravery in budding artists.

Class Design:

  • Week 1-2: Teaching artists build class community through games, ice breakers and rapport building with each child

  • Week 3-4: Technique comes to the forefront of each class in a hands on and engaging manner

  • Week 5-6: We layer on performance aspects to the class. At this point, students are ready because of the trust and foundation they have built

My child has a lot of energy.

Will they struggle to participate?

We see energy as a great thing to have! This energy can be sculpted into passion and enthusiasm for an artistic craft.

Our Teaching Artists are trained on different methods that allow them to positively redirect this energy into dance, theater games, acting in films, etc.

"We tried a performing arts class before and my child didn't enjoy it.

What makes this different?

Our approach to the performing arts is "child - centered." The number one goal is to keep the kids safe, while ensuring they have a good time. Adding the project based element to our classes has also ensured that students feel involved along the way.

This is done with smaller class sizes, well trained instructors, and lots of fun!

We are intentional in making sure that the class structure fits the needs of the group.

What if my child wants to stop after the first class or two?

We do not offer trial classes because our first focus is on community. It can be distracting and disengaging to have different children joining the class each week.

However, we do want to provide flexibity for your child and for your family. If your child is not enjoying the classes after a "2 class try" we will refund your session one hundred percent. No questions asked.
