This beginning filmmaking class covers storytelling, camera basics, editing, and film history so that kids build a real foundation in cinematic arts. It's perfect for beginners who are curious about how movies get made — and who want to make one themselves.
Our 6-week cohort-based classes give young filmmakers the perfect opportunity to explore film in a safe, fun environment while making new friends.
What Makes This Film Class Different?
We use a project-based model so that kids are involved every step of the way.
This Session's Project Our Junior Film Crew will write, shoot, and edit an original short film together. They'll collaborate on the story, work behind and in front of the camera, and screen their finished film at the end of the session.
