What to Expect
At Small Talk Studios, kids become creators, storytellers, and innovators! In this hands-on digital media class, students plan, record, and edit their own original show episodes—learning teamwork, creative problem-solving, and storytelling along the way. Each week, they’ll explore new roles like host, director, designer, and editor, all while building confidence and having fun in a collaborative studio setting.
Week‑by‑Week Outline:
Week 1 – Welcome to the Studio: Meet your team, explore the studio, and brainstorm ideas for your group show.
Week 2 – Theme Song & Camera Basics: Collaborate on writing and recording the show’s theme song while learning basic camera skills.
Week 3 – Logo Design: Work together to design a logo for the show.
Week 4 – Listener Letters: Create and respond to letters from fans, practicing communication and storytelling.
